He listens to his subordinates and learns from their advice, comments, and objective observations. In keeping with the latest trends in technology, he stays abreast with the many developments in the world.

Hence, those who are new to the management position, whether running a small farm cottage or a large chain of hotels, should know that being successful in this job requires more than a college education. More importantly, it requires a comprehensive knowledge of the world and of people.
